Beth Marquis Beth’s first love truthfully was art. Her journey began as a graphic designer specializing in print and branding. “Call me color-obsessed! Surface Design is enchanting. Between us, I am hopelessly devoted to creating patterns and paintings.” So she followed her heart to illustration and surface design for stationary, gifts, and home goods. It’s been a perfect match ever since.
Beth lives with her family, Jj, Violet, and Jo-Jo, in Portland, Oregon. Though she has a lovely studio, she is often found painting at the kitchen table with a view of her garden. She is influenced by picture books of any kind, daydreams (and sleep dreams), and her never-ending romance with Mother Nature. “My pro tip: carry at least two sketchbooks in preparation for your muse’s arrow to strike. This world is full of magic.”
Her clients include J.C.Somers Vintner, Celestial Hill Vineyard, Budgie Goods, and Plural Collective.
